I received this forward of a youtube video, "I am Israel" and it really spoke to me. Just thought it was really beautiful. It made me cry just cause I remember when my friends were forced out of their homes in Gaza. I think Israel to me reflects the fight against genocide. I remember hearing a Darfur victim speak of how Israeli troops actually helped him and his family get out. It took my family too when we were treated unjustly in Syria and it took in Russians who were suffering from their own injustices. It continues to struggle with its decisions and with its battle to gain peace.
