On Tuesday we visited the Holocaust Resource Center at QCC, watched a movie about the Armenian Genocide then walked to the Holocaust Exhibit. To me Genocide means the complete hate of a certain type of people that doesn't always apply to a certain race. Genocide is the lowest form of dealing with pople who are different tha you and anyone who is willing to exterminate people based on their beliefs or race have to have been demoralized to the point where they're not even conscientious about what they're doing. My knowing about the Armenian Genocide taught me that when one happens a lot of people suffer and are exiled. Genocides all share common things, mainly the fact that a lot of people are killed for being different.
Regarding Bluebeard and the study of Rabo Karabekian, I can tell that the survivors still suffer from memories of genocides long after they have passed. Artists are still making books, films, paintings, sculptures and other compositions about these tragic events so that people in the future won't make the same mistakes and learn from the ones made in the past.
