Holocaust Resource Center

what i found the most amazing about our experience at the Holocaust Resource Center is how one group up people could do that to another. it was sickening that a group of people could be so careless and discriminate so badly against another group as to want to wipe out there existence. it taught me something about life. how precious it is and how easily consumed by power it can be. how could one man have the guts to do that to other person? i cant answer that question. there must be so much hate coming from that person but where did it originate from?

The Holocaust Resource Center had many interesting artifacts and i didn't realize there were that much survivors located in this area. it was interesting and sad to hear there stories. there stories made the reoccurring question of how could a human do that to another. artifacts although upsetting, were interesting in the aspect as being a part of history and there right on campus. how did they acquire these artifacts? the man giving us the tour of the pieces they contain did a very good job. the part that i remember the most was when he was telling us about the labels that the jewish people had to go under like there middle names and the tags on the coat. it made me put myself i there shoes. i cant believe that jewish people made it through such trauma and mental torment. i couldn't imagine going through the holocaust. it was to horrific.
