In the beginning of the semester I was intimidated with the class work and now I look forward to it. I really enjoy the class critic and I learned a lot from my classmates. Even though it seems like it was a lot of work, the Professor has split the work down in to bits and pieces.
The class critic has being very helpful to me because when I read some one's writing, I also look at their format and the style of writing they used. I can't wait to get my mid-term paper back from the professor and see how I did and what I need to improve on.
Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 102 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (and to start conversations BEFORE we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum. You are required to write AT LEAST two paragraphs a week (in one or more postings).
