"Whatever happens, you have aroused people"

One of my favorite lines from "Frida", it was told to Diego by Frida during his struggle with artistic integrity while in NY. He wasn't sure whether to sell out to please his customer/critics or to stay true to his work of Art. He was insecure and unsure at that moment, and Frida's wise words gave him the foundation to continue on. It's a lesson we can all apply to ourselves as well, one that can be witnessed in every aspect of life. Those in this world who made a difference have done so by spreading a message or idea which ultimately reflected their unique individuality. Each of us are special and carry a special gift which can only be realized if that gift is both sincerely and genuinely shared with the rest of the world, staying true only to the person presenting that gift. Frida followed this philosophy of life and spread its beauty through her work of Art, and inspiration for all who take heed. A quote I've heard and read many times before, It is better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you are not.
