Today we disussed the different parts that are part into place to make a play. Ex: actors, lighting, music, props, etc. So I like the fact that he split us into groups and assigned each group one task that they had to do. Whether it was for one groups to be the actors and another to create the customers. I was in the customer and props group. You could see how important each group was in making the play. One part was no more important than the other.
We also had a discussion on the book and what we've read so far. I personally like the book. Something that caught my eye was the fact that Walter is money hungry. Throughout Act 1 he acts as if money is the only way to make a better life. On the other hand, his mother talks alot too about "being free". Walter's mom, she is free in the sense that she is not a slave to anyone and she talks alot about lynching and how she fortunate that's not her. You can tell already that there is going to be alot of drama and it's deffinitely going to have its ups and downs.
