Frida

Today we watched the movie Frida. For me it was a eye-opener into her life. The different changes and stages she went through. From her to get into a trolley accident, to find out that Alex was leaving. Then finding love with Diego and then seperating because of his infidelities. There were so many twist and turns. Can't wait to watch the rest Thursday.

  1. i found "FRIDA" movie very interesting because it talks about her life as she was growing up as a painter/artist. when she was 17 she got into an accident on the bus with a car trolley that crashes into a wall and that and iron-pole was caught into her ribs that paralyzed her for weeks/months. she was sad when her boy friend told her that he was leaving for good to stay with his people's. but when she was paralyzed in bed she started to draw her self and others. she when to meet Diego for an opinion about her painting if she should continued painting or what and he said "YES". she went to new york with Diego to help him up lift his dream but unfortunately it didn't work and she even went back to Mexico to visit her Mother b/c she was sick in bed and then a few days after she died.

what captivated me more is that she was polite, courageous, strong woman and believed that anything is possible. And that she was also a by sexual and didn't scared to show it. She been through a lot with Diego and put up with his shit ass obsession with sex and woman's. she try to trust and believe in him but he kept messing up thing with her but whatever happen he always go back to her and ask her for forgiveness and help.

i been through a lot with life but not like this but there are some similarity and differences between me and frida. i hope by watching this film i can get something out of this movie.

  2. I also really like how modest Frida is, she doesnt like compliments, she likes critisism. She also says shes just "keeping busy" and underestimates her work. On one hand shes very sexual and loud and on the other shes quiet, reserved and modest
