And I cherish it
I have taken your heart
And I have harnessed it
Your soul whispers softly
Sweet lullabies for lovers
It comforts and captivates
And it lives inside of me
Bellowing its tunes
Matching that of my heartbeat
My love for you is blind
The limits are endless
And defy time
Even when my blood stops coursing
My soul will never lose its devotion
So this is one of my love poems. Most poems that I have shared are rather dark. So I decided I should show that I am also capable of different genres. Hope you enjoy!
Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 102 class.
