What is abstract art? Abstract art to me is art in its most complex form. It is meant to be unclear and undecipherable, that is the beauty of it. When you look at an abstract painting, you will not see a landscape, or a person, or any figure that clearly represents a tangible object. Abstract is meant to make you wonder and question. The thing that I find most compelling about abstract art is, no matter how much you guess at what it may be, you will never truly know what the painter was meaning to depict, unless you speak to the painter himself.
Many people dislike abstract art, because they do not know what it is representing. If that is the case it usually is what the painter intended to do in the first place, confuse the viewer. Abstract art may not be the most difficult to make out of all forms, however I believe it can sometimes be the most enticing.
