This is one of my favorite poems and one of my favorite poests. In jounior high i had to write a biography and i chose this famous poet and this poem to write about. This poem stood out to me because it was short and straight to the point and you can almost imagine someone jumping off a bridge head first into a river commiting suicide. Even though the poem is about suicide the poem dosent seem dark or depressing it almost sounds calm and quiet and makes the idea of suicide not seem so bad.
