Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 102 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (and to start conversations BEFORE we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum. You are required to write AT LEAST two paragraphs a week (in one or more postings).

Bar-Nadav Reading
A reminder: We'll meet in M136 for Thursday's class. To prepare for the reading, you may want to use the blog to come up w/ questions that you'd like to ask. She's got a new book out so although she'll probably read poems from A Glass of Milk to Kiss Goodnight, she'll most likely read newer poems too. So although you may have questions about the poems we've read over the last few weeks, you might also use this as a chance to ask a published writer about what she does, why she does it, what advice she might have for you as writers, etc.
