We learn every day in different ways. English 102 was one more lesson in life. I learned that poetry is not as frightening as i thought it would be or boring as many say it is. The poetry reading with Hadara Bar-Nadav is a good example of that. I'm still wondering if that's her real name though !? I learned to look at art from a different perspective. Appreciate the artists that paint abstract work and understand their motivation. Criticizing art without ignorance is something i am taking with me from this class.

Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 102 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (and to start conversations BEFORE we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum.
